Constance acknowledge that Tennessee failing Infrastructure is literally destroying people.

According to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Tennessee received a C for Infrastructure.

The following is a list that includes type of infrastructure inspected & Tennessee grade:

Each category was evaluated on the basis of capacity, condition, funding, future need, operation and

maintenance, public safety, resilience, and innovation

​

In 2016 Tennessee increased the state gas tax. EPA has completed 6 drinking water reports that warns

Tennessee needs to invest $8.7 billion to improve & maintain safe drinking water. 43 utilities reports

struggling with treated water loss rates at 40%, a very costly incident. In 2019 there were 12 systems

under sewer tap moratorium due to overflow. In 2022, 45 municipalities issued moratoriums restricting

new customers.

Creating health communities allows Tennessee to expand which requires clean air, water, & updating

crumbling infrastructure. An upside of such obstacles is the generation of good paying jobs to our skill

labor of Infrastructure built by & for Tennessee.

Better public transit systems, green energy sources, & sustainable housing.

 

Constance Actions Will:

​

1.) Ensure Tennessee continues to receive needed funds from the federal branch for repairs such as

failing dams in Tennessee.

​

2.) Allot Funding to services like Amtrak to implement non-car infrastructure available in-state to

allow easier travel 4Every Tennessee resident.

​

3.) Secure federal funding of $8.7 billion to improve and maintain drinking water in Tennessee.

​

4.) Push infrastructure policies that bolster the environment of Tennessee while providing much

needed upgrades and boosting more Tennesseans being employed by the state & federal

government.

​

Constance Stands With:

-Repairing Tennessee Roadways Over sport stadiums.

-Increasing Dollars for Drinking Water Maintenance.

-Upgrading Sewer Water Systems.

-Statewide Light-Rail
